Pre-Assembler Mechanic

    Major Purpose of the Job:

    We are looking for an assembler to put together mechanical parts, components, or products in the manufacturing sector. Must know how to use different tools and equipment to assemble units according to requirement specifications in a particular area of a production line.

    Our ideal candidate will be a highly motivated professional who can work well in a team environment and can work quickly and accurately while following directions. The successful candidate will have prior experience in both manufacturing and assembly, so we are looking for an individual who is eager to learn and take on new responsibilities.
    Minimum Job Requirements
    • High School Diploma/equivalent and Vocational Technical school experienced
    • Mechanical Aptitude
    • One to two years’ experience in the field or in a related area.
    • Mechanical work tools required.
    • Drive a forklift (OSHA Certified)
    • Ability to read and identify parts with each diesel engine unit and proper labels on boxes.
    • Ability to use certain tools, as necessary.
    • Ability to read schematics.
    • Understands and can apply regulatory MSDS requirements in everyday activities.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Able to work overtime as required.
    • Required to wear safety glasses and other Personal Protective Equipment
    • Follows all Corporate Occupational Safety and Health Policies and Procedures. Reports any safety deficiency to immediate supervisor.
    • Understands and complies with all Corporate, and Departmental Quality Policies and Procedures.
    Essential Functions:
    • Assembly of Heavy equipment (Engines, Generator, Pumps, PTO, Trailers, Fuel tanks)
    • Install exhaust system.
    • Install enclosures.
    • Moves units with Forklift & Shop Crane.
    • Maintain supplies in the Assembly work area.
    • Provides feedback and documents pertinent work results. Must be readable and translatable by the supervisor or manager.
    • Read Digital and Paper drawings

     
    Job Physical Demands and Work Environment:
    • Ability to lift Forty (40) pounds without assistance.
    • Will stand, kneel, squat, twist, bend and walk for prolonged periods at times.
    • Medium level noise, Mechanical Hazards, Moving objects and water splash.

    • Work in an Open-Air Facility

    Job Location: 5820 NW 84th Ave Doral FL 33166 

    Hours: 7 AM - 4 PM Full-time

    Pay: $18.00 per hour
